Flip-Dot Sign Generator
Flip-dot signs — buses, old stadiums, hacker spaces — have a fizzier, more electronic personality than full split-flap boards. FlipLetters simulates the dots directly, so anything you type becomes dot-matrix lettering.

Text typed into the Flip-Dot board is rasterized into an 84×28 dot matrix — white dots flipping on black with a fizzy click, like a bus destination sign. It also accepts painted dot grids and imported images, at densities up to 168 columns.
How it works
- 01Open the Flip-Dot board and type your message.
- 02Pick a density preset (low retro to high resolution) and the fizz sound.
- 03Export, or switch to paint mode and draw the dots yourself.

Yes — import an image and it's rasterized to dots; simple, high-contrast art reads best on the dot grid.
